The sites that are featured on this page are here because I HATE them.  They are not here because of the content  (though some don't have much of that either), but because I think they are horrendously ugly and great examples of very bad site design.

So  if you have some time to waste, and want to assault your eyes and other senses with some truly horrendous and downright tacky-ugly wastes of server space and bandwidth then check out some of these truly dreadful web sites... (Just click on the pictures - new windows, as always).

And if your site is on this page all I can say is for God's sake learn how to design a decent site. There's lots of free help around - although it is impossible to learn good taste!!!

A classic!  

Jim likes to use EVERY ani-gif and JAVA script he ever finds, not to mention the disembodied head mouse trail.  The little silver bar just below his title is for not one but THREE different tacky music files.  Better have a really fast connection for this monstrosity... 

This site is so bad it's famous (Caution - it has been known to crash even the most powerful system!).

One quick glance at this God awful mess should be sufficient to make most surfers turn tail and run!

As if this background wasn't bad enough, each page (when you can actually FIND the menu links in all that mess) is on a different (equally awful) background - can you say schizophrenic?  And to top it off, EVERY time you change pages you are assaulted by the Install Comet Cursors applet.

Doesn't look THAT bad does it?  Wait until you get there!!

There is NO MENU - just links to the pages off the main page (...where the hell is my Back button?) and there is MUSIC - overloud and obnoxious and different on each page - thank heaven for high speed internet.  Another schizoid site - each time you change the page you think you've gone to a different site (and wish you had).

This guy's domain name is amazing.com.  

What is really amazing is that he is some kind of IT professional yet he has built a website with a left side of the page that goes on FOREVER and is IMPOSSIBLE to read because of the colours and a centre inset that looks like it just dropped in from some other site!

Let's just hope he's better at his REAL job...
