The sites that are featured on this page are here because I LIKE them.  They are not here because of the content  (though some have that too), but because I think they are aesthetically pleasing and examples of good site design.

This man's work is FABULOUS.  He (Lance Arthur of glassdog.com) has to be one of the most talented web designers I've come across - the work that this link leads to is simply stunning.

On top of that his content is well worth a visit, and the glassdog site features a wonderful design tutorial! 

This site is in Norwegian, and I can't read a word of it, but it is a beautiful example of understated elegance in site design and making use on an in-line frame for the site contents.

She is a Shih Tzu breeder, and if her dogs are as good as her website then they are excellent....

A beautiful site about a beautiful subject!

There is a really slick JAVA photo presentation on the opening page, all the graphics are well finished and the colour combinations are pleasing.  Even though there are a ton of pictures the pages load in an acceptable time frame.

No fancy "do-dads" with this site (unless you count the JAVA script mouse-overs on the menu), just very clean and well laid out, with properly finished graphics and easy navigation.

It's just a very "uncluttered" presentation of rather a lot of material, and easy to look at.
