It has been said that all people are created equal.

 While most seem to be happy to remain "equal" there are some who manage to sink to the depths and become the "dregs" of whatever society claims them.  The less said about them the better.

Happily, there are also many who rise above the norm and become truly "exceptional" .  From this group of outstanding individuals I have found some personal favourites, to whom I refer as "My Heroes".
